My first shipment of raail is on the way can’t wait to try! Good job brother 🙏🏽🔥
Thanks I appreciate that and you for watching the video. You’ll love their products and the results.
Thanks excellent video
Thanks for your compliment and watching the video.
Just wanted to check that this won’t wash off when I go through the car wash or anything like that if anyone knows. If not this is a pretty sweet solution
When it’s applied correctly you won’t have any issues with it peeling off, if you’re using a pressure washer give yourself enough distance when cleaning. At the end of this video I have a link that shows the car wash process.
Is there any chance you've done a hyper dip on a denali grill? Im not sure how to mask off the inside . The only place to out plastic through is the gmc logo . It has all these auto adjusting vanes for airflow behind it. Any advice?
I’ve done a few as well permanently painted them. The best route will be to remove the radiator cover located underneath the hood at the top, that way you can mask all that you don’t want painted.
Add Ashanti to the barrel of the wheels in big letters! Looks dope though as is!!
I appreciate that, yeah I’ll be adding our logo to that area but I definitely thought about it.
Omg ty for yr simple video. I just ordered my replacement handles in black. I knew it couldn't be that hard. Although i am a female, i luv to challenge myself first before seeking help. I went to a mechanic and they quoted me between 4-600 dollars. Least amount quoted was $300. After doing my research, i am grateful for yr video and excited about this DIY project. Was wondering if u have a video or could guide me on how to install the side mirror chrome covers only. I did find them online. Not replacing them; too expensive. Otherwise, im determined to paint them a flat black. I live sorta close to the beach and the plastic chrome has gone ugly. Hence, why i am replacing all 5 door handles with black handles instead. Can u plz help me. Tyvm.😊
You’re more than welcome and I’m glad you found use of the video. As for the side mirrors I have a video on how to remove them but not the chrome trim. I do have videos to show you how to spray wrap them black, it’s an easier way vs vinyl wrap and will benefit in other ways too. You won’t have to order new trim nor remove any parts, here’s both videos to help you with your project. ruclips.net/video/auvBuDHqCy4/видео.htmlsi=dtgiFZNfvQKTfDqo ruclips.net/video/REKRs_1ogqc/видео.htmlsi=iGyOxsOAgPYmQnle

How’s it going, you know it
The attention to detail from you is amazing thank you I was sure struggling 😂😂😂
You’re welcome and thanks for watching the video, trust me when I say I can relate to your struggles 😆
Great video
Thanks and I appreciate you watching the video.
bro....can i use this on my door handles
I suggest that you remove the handles so that you’re full wrapping around it vs only what’s visible. If you do decide to spray wrap the handle the possibility of it falling is high. Eventually after pulling on the handle the wrap will start to peeling in the direction of you pulling, there is a remedy for that if you’re skilled enough. After spraying the handles and letting them dry 3-4 hours you can cut and place a vinyl wrap strip behind them to avoid fingers pulling the spray wrap off.
What if it’s still loose after installing a brand new one. Still has scrubbing. Less shakey though
You may have issues with your rotors or brakes If you’re still experiencing the scrubbing noise. I would start with the brakes before replacing the rotors.
Did you sell the tire carrier?
No, I still have it
@@newtouchauto you wanna sell it? How much?
@@Didewro I’m not interested in selling it.
@@newtouchauto ok hit me up uo chg your mind. Thx
Question.. I have a 2016 IS200 F Sport. Prior to me owning it, someone has removed both the front door puddle lights (the ones you can see lit in your video) and snipped the wiring so there are now no connectors. I have new lamps but need the door connectors. Can the connectors be bought separately do you know? I've searched til my fingers bleed. Thanks for any help!
I’m not sure if you can get the connectors separately other than from the manufacturer. Your next option will be to add the electrical connections yourself, if you purchase a black & white roll of 12v wires they’ll operate the same. This video below shows how you can make it happen, let me know if you have any more questions about your project. ruclips.net/video/a-lacRrEYUU/видео.htmlsi=jqJzIO6jLNEwQsiV
Wouldn't it be easier to take the emblems off before applying plasti dip?
That would defeat the purpose and benefit of this product, if you were applying permanent paint then it’ll be easier. Removing the emblems will result in removing the adhesive glue from behind them, you’d then have to reapply the correct adhesive tape so that the emblems flush properly. Basically save yourself the hassle of adding a step in the process that’s not needed.
@@newtouchauto and that my friend is why you are the Goat. Thank you
@Kolectivz 😆 thanks for watching the video and supporting the channel.
Great, thanks. Have you done similar work on a 2023 Mitsibishi Outlander?
You’re welcome, I’ve yet to work on the vehicle mentioned.
Does this have to do anything with radio? I went to my local Lexus and they said it was because I had to replace this? I thought it was odd?
That’s very odd, throughout my years dealing with vehicles I’ve never heard of a side mirror being electrically connected with the radio.
Thank you for responding! I was wondering if maybe you have any thoughts of what could be the cause? It flashes when I turn on my car and back up camera shows up on screen but that’s about it. I was thinking maybe the fuses? AC and all the buttons do work around it (my car is a 2019 Lexus ES 350 f sport) I just wanted your thoughts since I can tell you know what you’re doing, thank you!
@esmeraldaperez1488 You’re welcome, the issue that you’re having is definitely electrical. Check your fuse for the radio to be sure it’s the correct amp, sounds as if the radio is not getting enough voltage to power up fully. Also check the owners manual, there could be a note on resetting your radio. If all else fails I know where you can find the answer, there’s a forum for every vehicle that answers anyone experiencing an issue with their vehicle. If you google ”Lexus Forums” and search your vehicle and enter the question an answer will appear, trust that you’re not the first to have that issue. If you don’t find an answer, leave your question up and a Lexus expert will help you find out what it is.
Excellent video, thanks for the detailed instructions. I’m about to install LED light bars(small ones) in the grill on either side of the RAM emblem. I must say after searching and looking at many videos on this subject, your video was the best. Thanks.👍
You’re welcome and that’s gonna look tough when it’s done. Thanks for the compliment and watching the video.
Lolol I hope you have learned how to pronounce diode by now.
Thanks for watching the video.
Great video with out removing everything
Thanks for the compliment and watching the video.
That wrap is specifically for high heat? How long does it last? Is it easy to remove? I loved your video. Excellent production value. Great explanations. Clear visuals.
Thank you for the compliment and watching the video, the wrap can last 3-4 years. I recommend removing it at the 4 year mark so that it removes correctly, removing is not hard at all though. When using a heat gun it allows the wrap to release easier than without one.
Thank you, sir. It was very helpful. Loved your video, which made it look very easy, and it was very enjoyable to watch with your audible explanations.
You’re welcome and thank you for watching the video, it’s always good to hear that the video was of use.
Thanks for the video. A car passing by on the street broke my mirror outer assembly off at the point where the whole mirror unit was connected to the base at the door. Actual mirror is not broken and electronics still works, but the whole side mirror is now dangling off the cord. I temporarily taped it back with packing tape. Would you recommend just buying just the actuator assembly or the whole mirror assembly(which includes the actuator). Thanks again.
You’re welcome, thank you for sharing your experience and watching the video. I’d suggest that you purchase the entire assembly, either way it goes you’ll have to remove the mirror and replace it. Save the time from breaking down the mirror portion which is a different process. Your local dealership or junkyard will be the closest hands on option, ordering a new replacement will be the last.
@@newtouchauto Thanks again for your valuable insights. Your video is great! You present it so well with such clear and easy to follow instructions. I really appreciate your support and subscribing to the channel, you’ll find tons of videos that’ll help in many categories. Hope that you can get your side mirror replaced soon.
Is it $15 for one wheel or for all wheels ?
Depending on your rim size and style 1 primer and 1 color aerosol cans will be enough. 18” wheels and up will require more product, 2 primers and 2 color aerosol cans.
You are a very good teacher! Thank you for this wonderful instructional video. I was able to black out my emblems on my Sierra AT4 on my first try because you stressed being patient and careful.

What soap Do you Use on car’s. ?
Dawn degreaser soap or any soap with degreaser, just be sure that you’re in a shaded area and not direct sunlight.
Thanks! Great video!
You’re welcome and thank you for watching the video.
Mine just doesn't go flush like yours. The handle part sticks out a little bit. Mine doesn't have that rubber piece. Mine is a 2008 clk350 convertible.
Yeah these were kinda difficult to reinstall, you’ll have to adjust everything back the same way. The biggest issue was the latch which is probably why you’re experiencing the gaping. I had to readjust the front handles a few times to get them to seat correctly, the rear handles were easier to do. If you hook the latch properly it’ll flush correctly, I stuck a flathead screwdriver through the side hole to prop the latch and connected the handle that way.
What does a job like this cost?
Spray wrap could range from $3000-6000 Vinyl wrap could range from $5000-8000
Very helpful! Thanks!
You’re welcome and thanks for watching the video.
Gracias por el video me sirvió mucho ❤
You’re welcome and thanks for watching the video
Both of your brake videos were great. Complete, efficient and clear. Thanks!
You’re welcome, thank you for sharing your thoughts and watching the video.
Learn about thermodynamics... Breaks Galipers do not get super hot like everybody thinks... Unless you drive your car with your foot on the break and on the gas pedal... See it this way... When cooking something in your oven. When you touch the oven do you burn your hand ? No because the heated energy is in the oven. Not all over the oven.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and you are right about that, here’s more knowledge to go along with your comment. The materials from the brake pads protect and prevent the rotor from heating up, once the brake pads wear down to the metal you’ll experience the heat extracting from the wheel area. When you hear the brakes squealing dust corrosion will then be created to warn you that the brakes are failing. Overtime the metal to metal will continue to overheat and land onto your rims burning through the paint causing pitting issues that’ll leave you having to repair or replace your rims.
Great job! I’m curious, what grit sandpaper did you use and did you do that by hand or machine? I’ll be dipping a car soon but it has a bunch of peeling clear coat that I need to sand down. Thanks in advance! ✌🏽
Thanks for the compliment and it’s best that you get rid of any loose paint or clear coat first hand. The correct way would be to use 400 grit first and 800 grit last, since I was wrapping the areas with vinyl it’s safe to begin and finish with 600 grit. My advice is to not sand down to the metal, try to keep as much paint for bonding purposes and whoever wants to paint the surface on a later date.
@@newtouchauto Thank you so much for the quick and detailed reply! Just one more follow up question, though. Are you wet sanding by hand to make sure you’re not removing paint, as you’ve previously mentioned?
Wet sanding is an option but no I didn’t go that route, I used a orbital sander. The grit you use will determine how much you want to sand off, anything 320 grit and under will cut through paint exposing metal.
@@newtouchauto Thank you again so much for the info, super helpful! I love watching your videos, super clean work!
@@idonttripmidgets No problem and thanks for the support, I really appreciate that
What is a forged look?
Have you ever noticed how the wheels are wider in the rear of a BMW, Mercedes or other sport cars? Well this gives you the image of a wider rim and tire vs the normal look as the front wheel.
The headlight tint is enough to make me angry 😂
If those 4 small dents were the only body imperfections not paint related. Why not spend a hour to do some minor bodywork? Bc the wrap would've been almost flawless if so.
I agree, thanks for watching the video and sharing your thoughts. The customer decided to proceed with the wrap and have the dents repaired on a later date.
@@newtouchauto peeped out your videos and you do a good job. Was thinking about getting my skylark wrapped probably. If you weren't 5 hours away I would stop by and get a quote. Closest wrap shop to me is in Tallahassee and it's not worth what they want.
